Important Notes About Shipping: We ship within Canada and to the USA. Minimum order for shipping is $40.00 (i.e. total order cost before shipping, handling and taxes). Accepted methods of payment include cheques (yes, personal cheques are still fine) or money order. We can also process orders over the phone if you wish to pay with Visa or Mastercard. For cheques and money orders payment should be made out to ‘Island Daylily Farm’, and must not be post dated. Payments will be processed upon receipt and we will reserve your order and shipping date on a first come, first served basis. Ordering Details: For phone orders please contact us toll free at 888.265.5757 or for local callers dial 250.733.2082. If you wish to pay by cheque or money order just browse our daylily lists, make your selections, then print and fill out the order form. Send the order form in along with your payment. Note that the payment total must include the BC Provincial Sales Tax (PST) of 6% (even if you don’t live in BC, as well as the appropriate shipping and handling fees (listed below). We do not charge GST. Shipping Details: We ship from April 1 to October 1 (weather permitting). Some selections are in limited supply, so order early to avoid disappointment. Planting and care instructions are shipped with your order. Prices listed are for double fans. All of our plants are hand cleaned and shipped bare root, on a Monday, via Expedited Post so that you receive it the same week. All plants will be clearly labelled, and guaranteed healthy and true to name. If for some reason a mistake is made or you are not happy with your order just contact us, and we will make all reasonable effort to accommodate your needs! We encourage you to read our plant care page for planting and maintenance tips and to feel free to email us with questions. We recognize that different zones require different planting dates so please indicate your preferred shipping date on the order form. As mentioned above, the earlier we receive your order, the more likely it will be filled and shipped on your preferred date. Substitutions: We will not substitute without your permission. If you would like us to substitute, please indicate this in the space on the order form and feel free provide us with some suggestions in the same price range, otherwise we will use our discretion. All substitution plants will be of equal or greater value to those on your original order. With so many cultivars available, a substitution can often bring a pleasant surprise! If we are unable to accommodate your suggestions, we will provide a cheque refunding the value of the missing plants. Gift Plants: Gift plants are included with shipped orders (shipped orders must be over $40 cumulative list price). Discount orders: Shipped orders over $100.00 cumulative list price may deduct 10% discount. SHIPPING RATES: British Columbia or Alberta: $15.00 plus .50 cents per plant ; The rest of Canada: $20.00 plus .50 cents per plant. USA: $20 plus .50 cents per plant and $25 for a phytosanitary certificate (required for entry of plant material to USA).
